Test Report
PV module with ‘KlearGlass’ Hydrophobic coating
Testing Method
Both “Device under test (DUT)” and “Reference” are PV modules with the same
model and the same 500 Wp power rating. DUT is coated with ‘KlearGass’ Hydrophobic
coating but the Reference does not coated. Both DUT and Reference are exposed to the
same solar irradiance and environments feed power to the grid at the same point. Power
and Energy feed to the grid are measured and recorded for one day and reported.
Conclusion
Observation of DUT unit was that it was covered with less dust particle than
Reference unit. Therefore DUT unit was able to produce more energy than Reference unit
